Behind the Writing
Hi—I'm Keisha! Writing and I go way back. While most '80s-'90s kids used their crayons to master coloring inside the lines, I used mine to write near-novels on the walls of my childhood home. Needless to say, I went to extreme lengths to express myself.
An early passion for writing has evolved into my life's purpose—to use my natural gift of writing and storytelling to empower fellow visionaries. Through impactful writing and customized, focused content creation, I add value to the lives of my clients.

My loved ones and clients would tell you that I've reminded them to remember "the small things." That is, I have a knack for helping others to highlight and acknowledge their "small" gifts and victories in hopes of guiding them toward realizing their self-worth, rising to their greatest potential, and achieving self-mastery.
I aim to remind humankind that the "smallest" things that we have done in our lives have made the greatest, most positive impact.
We must never forget those things.
I am a multifaceted freelance writer, digital designer, & media manager with 12+ years of experience creating content across a variety of industries and topics. Born of Barbudan parentage, Caribbean lifestyle and entertainment media is my sweet spot!

I hold a B.S. in Journalism & Mass Communication (Public Relations concentration) from North Carolina A&T State University and a M.S. in Media Management from The New School as well as a CPRW (Certified Professional Résumé Writer) credential.
​
Purpose has called me home to my beautiful Caribbean island gem, Barbuda. Writing is exciting, but nothing compares to a beach trip on a sweltering day, relaxing in the hammock under a cool evening breeze, or eating freshly picked plum and sugar apple.
